Couples Agenda
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 August 2026
Couples Agenda ("the app") is developed by Bart de Voogt. This policy explains how the app handles your data. The app is free with optional banner ads; a one-time in-app purchase removes ads forever.
What the app does
Couples Agenda is a shared calendar for couples. It syncs agenda data between linked partners using Apple CloudKit / iCloud, and can show other calendars on your device.
Data we process
- Agenda content you create (events, notes, voice notes) — stored in iCloud via CloudKit for sync between you and your linked partner.
- Partner link information needed to connect two people securely.
- Device calendars (Apple, Google, Outlook via the system calendar) — read on-device to display alongside your shared agenda; not uploaded to our own servers.
- Microphone — only when you record a voice note; audio is stored with your event data in iCloud for the couple.
- Notifications — to alert you about invites and changes.
- Advertising (free tier) — Google AdMob may show a banner ad. Requests are configured as non-personalized (
npa=1); we do not request App Tracking Transparency / IDFA for ads. Google may still process device and usage data as described in Google’s privacy policy. Purchasing “Unlock Forever” removes ads. - Purchases — handled by Apple In-App Purchase; we do not receive your payment card details.
What we do not do
- No selling of personal data
- No separate third-party analytics SDKs beyond AdMob (free tier) and Apple services
- No cross-app tracking via our own systems
Apple & Google services
Sync and sharing rely on Apple iCloud / CloudKit under Apple’s privacy terms. Calendar access uses Apple’s EventKit APIs on your device. Ads (when shown) use Google AdMob — see Google’s Privacy Policy.
